Savannah Lauer, DVM

Dr. Savannah Lauer’s passion for animal care began early—growing up in her mother’s pet store, she developed a special fondness for exotic pets, while also nurturing a deep love for cats and dogs.

A graduate of Hononegah High School, Dr. Lauer went on to earn her undergraduate degree from Beloit College before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Dr. Lauer and her husband have been together for nearly 20 years and share their home with a vibrant menagerie that includes birds, cats, snakes, and a turtle. Their two sons are actively involved in caring for the family’s animal companions, creating a lively and loving household.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Lauer enjoys spending time outdoors with her family—especially hiking and fishing. The Lauer household also loves unwinding with video games, often joined by their furry, feathered, or scaled sidekicks.
